The Cultured
Schnitzel Company

WHAT WE DO

THE EVOLUTION
OF SCHNITZEL

When life gives you futurist stem cell technology, the true calling of German food engineers is to manufacture a cultured schnitzel - free of slaughter, free of suffering, full of schnitzel.

OUR VISION

NO_GUILTY
PLEASURE

We believe that eating meat is a celebratory part of our many different cultures but the way we are growing meat is inherently unsustainable. We think that it's in our human nature to proactively shape our world with technology.

We believe in a future in which we can indulge in the pleasure of eating meat without the suffering of animals and the disastrous effects on the environment.

HOW IT'S MADE

THE ORIGIN
OF SCHNITZEL 2.0

We abduct the tastiest cows in the world and steal a pinch of their cells (both myosatellite & muscle cells). This is a safe, veterinary procedure.

We then allow the cells to multiply and grow using a plant-based growth medium in a very controlled environment. The cells now grow happily for about 21-28 days.

We then allow the cells to multiply and grow using a plant-based growth medium in a very controlled environment. The cells now grow happily for about 21-28 days.

After the growth phase, we are left with a shapeless pile of cells. With our cutting edge food tech, we merge these grown cells with other plant-based components to create a world class Schnitzel.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

"THE TALK"

Why would you go through so much trouble when you can just eat plant based foods?

Meat is in our collective culture. projections have shown, that the social change that is pushing for a vegan lifestyle has only really been cemented in first world countries.

Isn't this lab-grown stuff unhealthy?

Most foods one can consume at the supermarket right now have originated in a "lab". Modern food technology is in most of our foods from plant milk to bread. That does not mean it is necessarily bad - it just means that the growing process had a more rigorous process behind it.

This is not *natural* like REAL meat.

There is nothing "natural" about our mass meat production. Cultured meat will be free of antibiotics, E. coli and growth hormones.

Are you using GMOs?

The end product as well as the growth medium will be free of GMO-classified food.

When will I be able to eat Cultured Schnitzel?

We are aiming for 2025 ± 1 year

What are your biggest challenges?

Scaling from lab batches (0-20Gs) to production amounts (2T mind. +)
